The 1st Generation Chevrolet Joy was introduced in 2005.Chevrolet Joy is a front engine front wheel drive subcompact hatchback. Chevrolet Joy was designed and produced by the South Korean manufacturer Daewoo and was later rebadged and sold by Chevrolet as the Chevrolet Joy. The Chevrolet Joy 1st Generation is also known as the Daewoo Matiz, Chevrolet Exclusive, Chevrolet Spark, FSO Matiz, Daewoo Matix and Pontiac G2 etc in other regions around the world. Production of the Chevrolet Joy lasted for 5 years and Chevrolet halted the production in 2009.The price of the 1st Generation Chevrolet Joy was very competitive when compared with other cars of same price and type available at the time of production in the local market.

Exterior

The exterior of the Chevrolet Joy features a relatively unique and distinctive design language. The front end houses circular headlights, a small rectangular grille and a trapezium air intake. The rear end houses sharp side swept taillights with circular inserts, a large outward sticking bumper and a standard case hatchback. All variants of the Chevrolet Exclusive feature identical styling in every aspect. The overall exterior of the 1st Generation Chevrolet Joy takes a slightly old-fashioned and “retro” approach to its styling.
